About the role

Join Balfour Beatty as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in delivering critical infrastructure that supports Scotland's energy transition and the UK's Net Zero ambitions. You'll be a key member of our Commercial team, providing expert cost and contract management across the full project lifecycle-from tendering and negotiation to delivery and final account. What you'll be doing

We're seeking a commercially astute professional with:

• A degree (BSc/MSc) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
• Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards)
• Strong working knowledge of NEC3 & NEC4 contracts
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A collaborative mindset and customer-focused approach
• A drive for results and continuous improvement

Who we're looking for

• You will have the following qualities/experience:
• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent.
• Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards).
• Experience with key contracts such as NEC.
• Good communication skills.
