The Role

We're seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Engineer with experience in Aerospace & Defence, to champion quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our products consistently exceed expectations. In this pivotal role, you'll be the linchpin of quality, working closely with the engineering team, manufacturing, customers, and stakeholders to maintain and elevate our standards.

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Plexus, you will have a multifaceted role. You will perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization services supporting quality aspects of the product. You will be the point person on the project for ensuring adherence to established quality system standards, regulatory requirements, and product safety standards. Quality Engineers own product design and development planning, design controls, risk management activities, and regulatory aspects. In addition they support the team with Design Verification activities, product compliance testing, and cybersecurity. Finally, you will lead the Quality System by maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and providing expert technical training and guidance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in the Aerospace & Defence sector under AS9100.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced product development / manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for mentoring and coaching.

Due to the nature of project work we require candidates to hold U.K. nationality or to either have, or be able to go through, U.K. national security vetting and clearance.
