Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Salary: £43,000 to £46,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading ISO 9001 audits within the business and programmes
• Leading assigned quality investigations using proven methodologies to establish root cause and corrective action(s)
• Liaising with 3rd party auditors such as certification bodies and the customer
• Undertaking various assurance activities to drive compliance, mitigation of risk and improvement opportunities in the business
• Implementation of quality tools and techniques, and coaching others on their use
• Supporting the business quality culture of Doing the Right Thing and Predict, Prevent and Protect
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels of the business – this role will have exposure and an opportunity to engage all areas of the business to make a huge positive impact

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Recognised formal Internal Auditor training
• Strong quality management knowledge, particularly within the areas of assurance
• In depth knowledge of quality tools and techniques
• In depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems / ISO 9001

Desirable:

• Lead Auditor training
• Experience of ship building, manufacturing or equivalent large complex engineering led organisation
