An automotive component manufacturer with sites across the UK require a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure products they produce meet the automotive quality standard. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive customer experience with strong skills in a broad range of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP and FMEA.

Package: £48,000 - £50,000 p.a. +Pension +Free Parking

The Role

Reporting into the Quality Manager you will have the following duties:

-Managing all quality related issues for e.g., internal, supplier and customer warranty.
-Carrying out product and process auditing.
-Participating in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA's.

The Person

Educated to degree level in a relevant manufacturing discipline, you will have the following experience:

-Previous experience in a quality related role in first tier automotive.
-Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
-Knowledge of the automotive standard IATF 16949.
