About the Role:

The Senior QA Officer in the QA Operations team is a respected position bringing technical expertise and coordination of a number of work streams to this role. They are relied upon to prepare and review critical documentation supporting production such as Work Orders/Batch Packing Records and Product Quality Review reports. They are a source of knowledge both for shop floor support and for their QA Operations team colleagues. They play a vital role in coordinating batch release priorities between a number of functions, in order to respond to the needs of the organisation. Through daily organisation and participation in large projects, or running smaller projects, they will work with colleagues in all parts and at all levels in the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and relevant international standards, and their application.
• Supporting the Deviation systems and performing associated investigations.
• Implementation and effectiveness review of CAPAs.
• Supporting the Customer Compliant systems and performing associated investigations.
• Generation and review of Product Quality Review Reports.
• Batch review activities of licensed medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and foods.
• Quality release of cosmetics and foods.
• Creation and updating of batch certificates.
• Provide Quality input and support to relevant meetings.

Ensure activities and changes to equipment and working practices are made in line with applicable regulations and guidelines for products including licensed medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food, and biocides.

  • Ensure all improvement opportunities are in line with ISO or other applicable standards. Ensure all manufacturing operations are defined and documented to ensure optimum performance.
  • Work to an agreed program of priorities. Provide regular feedback and progress reports. Proactively manage resources to ensure deadlines are met

  • Degree level educated in a related subject and a
  • professional experience in all aspects quality management tand management systems.
  • Experienced in the use of SAP, MasterControl, QPulse or other eQMS/eDMS systems, Minitab.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in both giving and receiving of information. This includes verbal and written /electronic communications.
  • Works effectively and maintains relationships with colleagues across all required functions on site.
  • Will have the ability and propensity to identify and resolve issues where required.
  • Self-organised and able to manage their own workload with minimal supervision.
