Salary: £70,000 - £76,760 + up to 20% bonus per annum, and Company car.
Working Location: Homebased, Nationwide

Responsibilities
NHBC is hiring a Senior Quality and Compliance Manager to oversee academic performance and ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, CITB, and accreditation bodies. You will manage ESFA funding, drive continuous improvement, and lead a team to maintain high standards and enhance achievement rates.

What you'll be doing
- This role will have strategic accountability for quality control and assurance, academic performance, teaching, learning and assessment across NHBC's training and commercial services business.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as Ofsted, ESFA, CITB and accreditation organisations.
- Manage, direct, motivate and develop a dynamic, multi-disciplined team to deliver NHBC's compliance, quality, and support capability.
- In collaboration with the Senior Training Managers, define strategies which focus on driving consistently high standards of academic performance.
- Working with teams within the Commercial department, develop and maintain a framework of continuous quality improvement to positively impact achievement rates, retention, destinations and other stakeholder needs.
- Financial oversight of ESFA funding claims, ensuring that all related systems and processes are robust and implemented effectively with staff at all levels ensuring their participation and full involvement in quality assurance processes.
The ideal candidate will have
- Extensive experience in the field of teaching, learning, and assessment, with a proven track record of driving quality improvement.
- Experience leading a team with Teaching/Assessing and Quality Assurance focus.
- Can bring simplicity from complexity and communicate effectively to senior contacts clearly, succinctly, and diplomatically - both face-to-face, in workshops, presentations and in writing.
- A comprehensive understanding of Ofsted priorities, expectations, and judgements regarding the quality of education.
- Detailed knowledge of the ESFA Apprenticeship Funding Rules and Financial Handbook for ITPs.

- ISO9001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer certified
- DTLLS (Diploma to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) or DET (Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training)
