Senior QC Analyst - Olfactive Expert Fine Fragrance_ Ashford

Based on your core QC expertise, you will be responsible for managing a subset of activities centered around Site QC activity associated with Fine Fragrance products and raw material ingredients.

You will report to the Head of Quality and Improvement.

Missions:
• Lead QC evaluations and troubleshooting of products and ingredients with a focus on Fine Fragrance
• Manage Analytical specific processes/tasks applicable to the Site
• Provide technical expertise/support regarding several aspects of materials/processes involved in sensory, manufacturing, raw materials
• As a technical expert, perform sensory assessments for the materials in scope.
• Lead the investigation of non-conformance (internal or external) associated with the sensory evaluation parameters.
• Act as a coach to QC staff.
• Lead improvements in QC processes and set proactive measures to prevent issues.
• Support the Fine Fragrance Industrialisation process

Academic Background:
• Vocational diploma (pre-university) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• University degree preferred.

Professional Experience:
• Overall work experience of 7+ years in a similar position.
• Previous background in Sensory Evaluation, from within the Fragrance industry.
• Team member management
• Continuous Improvement experience

Technical Skills:
• Fluent in English. Speak and understanding French is desirable.
• Laboratory and QC techniques required.
• Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and related local regulations.
• Able to present technical reports and presentations, adapting the style to suit either a

technical or non-technical audience or an internal or external audience.
