Lancashire County Council Public Health & Well Being Team is seeking to recruit experienced Senior Public Health/Housing Practitioner (G10) to join our dynamic, vibrant, and friendly team. We are committed to improving the health and well-being of our communities, through a series of wide-ranging programmes to reform the way we deliver services. We want to do everything we can to reduce inequalities and improve health outcomes for the people of Lancashire.
We are looking for a team player who have experience of housing and support, leading and managing health projects and programmes, and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to address public health priorities linked to housing and accommodation.
The role will have a primary focus leading a project researching and understanding the housing related needs of substance users often with multiple disadvantages, working closely with and coordinating external housing consultants.
Whilst experience of public health and commissioning are advantageous, transferable skills are welcomed. The primary requirements is for someone who has significant experience of working in the housing and / or homelessness sector.
