What you'll do
The Youth segment is the biggest growth area in mobile telecoms and the future of the industry with young people the heaviest users of smartphones and mobile data services. The Youth team at Vodafone UK has full ownership of the Youth segment and VOXI brand, focusing on expanding Vodafone's market share by growing the VOXI brand and launching innovative, digital-first propositions.
As the Senior Propositions Manager for VOXI you will oversee segment strategy and P&L performance, including developing and implementing the product and proposition roadmap. This role involves defining customer and market insights, designing, developing and launching propositions, initiatives and campaigns, managing performance, providing a best-in-class digital experience, and optimising customer journeys. You will also be responsible for VOXI NPS, brand awareness, and consideration.
In this role, you will lead and direct a team of product managers, and a wider matrix team including Brand, Trading & Digital, to deliver the overall strategy for the brand. Adopting the principles of Agile delivery, you'll be expected to role model and inspire the team to drive digital innovation right at the heart of the strategy.
Key accountabilities:
- Define and drive the youth segment & product strategy.
- Manage the overall proposition and product roadmap.
- Shape, build and deliver successful go-to-market plans to launch new products & propositions.
- Own and drive commercial performance and support weekly trading activity - capitalising on emerging opportunities, understanding and responding to competitive activity in collaboration with sales channels and trading teams.
- Work closely with eCommerce teams to improve digital sales performance incl. funnel optimisation.
- Own and optimise the complete customer experience and end to end lifecycle around Youth segment needs at all stages and touchpoints.
- Work closely with Brand, Media and agency teams to develop and execute the VOXI brand and media strategy and execute campaigns in an innovative way, incl. budget management, media-mix & performance.
- Identify and implement marketing partnerships to further engage with youth.
- Manage strategic and business planning/roadmap for stakeholders and key decisions.
Who you are
- Thorough understanding of the UK youth market and consumer mobile market and/or online subscription services.
- Experience of developing and launching new insight led propositions and channels.
- Track record of shaping and implementing a go-to-market strategy working with a range of sales and marketing channels.
- Track record of driving commercial performance for a product/proposition/brand.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and channels to engage with youth.
- Track record of driving digital sales performance and improving digital customer experience.
- Experience of leading and managing consumer marketing teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, influencing skills and stakeholder management, up to Director level.
