Job Title: Senior Project Professional – International Exchange

Salary: From £40,748 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading on international Exchange document transfers between US parties and UK (BAE Systems), including process development and maintaining records
  • Leading on arrangements for non-UK Embedments’ inductions, repatriation, and security clearance provision, maintaining associated metrics and expediting resolution of any risks
  • Leading on IT matters for the team, and being the team’s Primary Point of Contact with IT and expediting resolution of IT issues
  • Leading on the management of Need-to-Know approvals for the project, approving/declining applications as required and providing advice
  • Undertaking regular liaison with Export Controls department to ensure compliance as required
  • Undertaking regular liaison with Security Function to manage and expedite Visits, Passes, Vetting, Information Security, and Supporting the appropriate security culture by raising security awareness

Your skills and experiences:

  • Excellent Stakeholder Management experience up to senior level
  • Risk Management experience
  • Knowledge of Security and Export Control arrangements for international activities
  • Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience within the Defence industry

The International Exchange team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the International Exchange Team supporting Submarine Programmes. You will support the processing of knowledge transfers between US and UK. The team is growing to cover multiple international exchange Programmes.
