Job Title: Senior Project Professional – Delivery

Salary: From 40,748 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks using appropriate PM methods and tools, agreeing on the approach with stakeholders, preparing realistic plans, and tracking activities against the schedule while managing stakeholder involvement
  • Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives, supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
  • Identifying and collaborating with key stakeholders to undertake intermediate problem-solving, typically based on prior experience
  • Managing the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met, and that financial and other benefits are achieved
  • Performing intermediate project reporting and scheduling tasks to ensure timely updates and adherence to project timelines
  • Undertaking supervisory responsibilities for a small team

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Recognised Project Management professional qualification or currently working towards it
  • Strong Stakeholder Management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel
  • Demonstrable experience using Project Management toolsets, specifically SAP, Team Center, Microsoft Project and Gantt charts

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

The Test & Commissioning Enablement team:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Test & Commissioning Enablement Team where you will support Engineering projects through enabling the test and commissioning department across programmes and liaising with various functions to ensure the equipment we create is enabled according to schedule for upcoming tests. This is a great opportunity to work within an independent role where your forward-thinking attributes are encouraged, and problem-solving skills are acknowledged, thereby having the ability to directly shape and influence. Furthermore, the team support all submarine programmes and will provide great exposure across the business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
