A Senior Project Planner is sought by leading project developer pioneering the delivery of Renewable Energy assets throughout the UK. The projects you will support include the UK's largest Energy Storage Assets (+100MW), H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets. These projects will involve the installation of high value equipment, M&E, and civils activity.

Statera build, own, and operate flexible energy infrastructure that solves the issues of balancing grid supply and demand. The projects we deliver are aiming to decarbonise the electricity system, while ensuring greater energy security.

Purpose

To deal effectively and efficiently with all aspects of allocated planning tools applications, related consents, appeals and enforcement in accordance with established policies and procedures and statutory time limits.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender information and deal with preparation of tender programmes
• Prepare and issue master/contract programmes
• Analyse Labour Resource and Plant
• Assess and evaluate construction methods and techniques
• Recommend and evaluate prelims
• Prepare procurement and information schedules
• Advise on logistics and methods of working
• Identify complex construction and associated risks/opportunities
• Assist in resolving issues.
• Prepare presentations and attend interviews.
• Assess and report project progress positions and forecast project completion.
• Analyse entitlements and assist in preparation of submissions.

Experience

• Working knowledge of Primavera, Power BI, Powerpoint, Excel and Word is necessary
• Types of project: Renewable/ Hydrogen Storage / BESS /energy projects etc
• Previous experience of planning role within traditional contracting, EPC and EPCM required
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and logical skills.
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
