Take this opportunity as we now are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in London.

As a Senior Project Manager at Business Sweden, you will lead and deliver projects to support Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion journeys. We provide advisory services within the areas of Commercial Agenda, M&A, Supply Chain and Public Affairs, and we support with implementing the strategies the we build, incorporating activities such as client and partner acquisition. As part of our trade promotion assignment, we build strategic platforms that we use to position Swedish competency and Swedish companies, based on sectors and/or horizontal areas of Swedish strenghts. As part of our investment promotion assignment, we support foreign companies to navigate opportunities in Sweden and support with high-value investments, drive market insights, strategic advice.

The Senior Project Management position encompasses a diverse range of assignments and a high level of responsibility, that makes the work truly dynamic and challenging.

The role includes strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities across all of our assignments, such as:

  • Drive sales of consultancy services to existing and new Swedish clients, including insight-driven prospecting and development of customer value propositions, utilising the full network of Business Sweden colleagues and competencies
  • Lead consultancy engagements across our service portfolio and across markets - both of more strategic and more hands-on nature
  • Lead investment and/or trade promotional platforms and engagements
  • Interact with key stakeholders ranging from clients, governmental agencies, colleagues and team members
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing team by contributing to externally published project deliveries and market insights, bringing value proposition for our clients and lead trade/invest promotion activities

The role is based in London, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

Formal requirements

  • Master of Science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience as Management Consultant and Strategic Business Development from Strategy or Management firms
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience from a consultancy firm or equivalent
  • Experience from leading and coaching consultant teams and prior experience from an international environment, proven track record of successfully leading multinational project teams and working cross-border
  • Strong experience from our core consultancy service areas, including Commercial Advisory, M&A and Supply Chain
  • Proven track record in sales and the ability to independently drive client dialogues, and take on full sales cycle responsibility, is a must
  • A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is a requirement, Swedish is meriting
