Role overview

This role is working on an ongoing syndicated Automotive tracking study. The project itself is an industry leading study on car buyers' experiences when purchasing a new vehicle in 1 major car markets, and the data collected, across multiple methodologies, is used at the highest level within automotive manufacturer organisations for key strategic decision making.

What will I be doing?

Dedicated to a large account in the automotive sector, you will be responsible for managing the project day to day delivery, working closely with the Associate Director, who heads up the team.

Working closely with the rest of the account team, you will be responsible for helping ensure that the project runs efficiently to specification, quality and budget.

You'll be joining a team who is passionate about improving processes and have a creative way of constantly challenging the status quo to find smarter ways of working.

Whilst this is a project management role, this may also suit someone from an operational research background who has a sound knowledge of large trackers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the timeline with others in the team, ensuring delivery to deadlines
  • Liaising with key suppliers to ensure that the data quality is ensured and tight timescales throughout the project duration are met.
  • Managing sample from clients ensuring it's processed, checked and on schedule prior to sending to the mailhouse/printers/online team
  • Managing sample selections to ensure quota targets are met.
  • Checking and reviewing data and queries before final issue.
  • Building project reports, including review and quality checking
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders (Researchers) and Operational teams
  • Work effectively at identifying and pre-empting challenges and problems
  • Provides excellence in project direction and delivery. Accountable for the execution of the work and service provided to the client.
  • Implementing efficiencies and effective ways of working.
  • Disciplined, and focused - able to prioritise to deliver.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and represent Ipsos in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Experience in working on or delivering large market research programmes, either from a Project Management or operational perspective
  • We are looking for someone who continually seeks opportunities to expand own knowledge, and continually drive improvement.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to demonstrate strong client management experience. Able to bring value to client meetings regarding the practical implementation and execution of projects.
  • Strong organisational skills - demonstrate flexibility, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks in order to deliver business requirements.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including data checks and proof reading.
  • Be dedicated, taking ownership of tasks and delivering as promised to the best of his or her ability, including being error free.
  • Confidence with managing budgets and finances.
  • Be a positive thinker with a can do, solution-focused attitude and a good team player.
  • Proficient in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Enthusiasm for the role, team and life in general.
