Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Base Location: South Coast (Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Slinfold)

Salary: £38,212 - £58,945-depending on skills and experience + Car Allowance + Annual Bonus, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday. Required working hours to be flexible around 07:30 - 15:30, role will require travel to sites across Hampshire and West Sussex.

Could you be our next Senior Project Manager to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role

In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing and supervising an LED lantern replacement scheme which will be completed as part of a 4 year programme under the South Coast PFIs.

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

• Meeting with management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
• Managing sub contractor delivery teams
• Developing detailed project plans to instruct project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
• Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
• Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders
• Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
• Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
• Effective communication and oversight of the project workforce to ensure a successful delivery of the project.
• Ensure the commissioning standards on site are met.

What do I need to be successful in this role

We are looking for you to join us with a strong project management background and be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully managing complex projects.

• Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement
• Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and other relevant applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make hard decisions required to achieve project objectives
• Experience working in the Highway Electrical Sector would be advantageous or an understanding of projects that are impacted by working on the Highways.
