Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: London
Role Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to manage and lead a staff responsible for individual, multi?disciplined real estate project solutions for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery.
Key Requirements
- 6-8+ years relevant industry experience with consultancy firms specialising in client-side project management, programme management or PMO.
- Proven experience in managing complex real estate and construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership skills - capable of developing teams and leading others in challenging environments.
- Experience of preparing and maintaining project requirements.
- Taking a lead role in engaging with clients, managing consultants and managing stakeholders of all levels at all delivery stages and building long-term trusted advisor relationships.
- Project Governance - strong understanding of PMO process and system development and enhancement, including project and financial reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen including understanding of developing and agreeing budgets, controlling forecasts and actual costs.
- Understanding and experience of managing change control.
- Experience of managing resources and procurement of resources.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ideally chartered or working towards - for e.g. MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, MAPM, MICE, APM, MSP or equivalent.

- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

- Local knowledge and experience of projects in EMEA.
- Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
- Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
- Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action
