About us:
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join the team and deliver a range of exciting and innovative projects within our Digital Environment Portfolio.
This role is based at our Kings College Campus in London working with a team based at the King's Service Centre based in Cornwall.
The role is within our fast paced and delivery driven Infrastructure team who manage the infrastructure, applications and IT systems which power King's College London.
About the role:
The role of Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of a number of projects within IT Infrastructure, across the college. The successful candidate will be expected to build relationships across a wide stakeholder community and business partners, to ensure the projects are delivered to budget and within timescales, driving innovation in line with the University's requirements.
This is a full time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Track record of delivering IT infrastructure projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment.
- Experience of successfully engaging management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management principles, e.g. Prince2 and agile / safe agile, waterfall project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience infrastructure technologies projects.
- Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation.
Desirable criteria
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally
- Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
- Computer literate, able to quickly and efficiently use a wide range of common Office software including Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Project.
- Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues.
- Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritisation and a pragmatic approach.
