ALL.SPACE is seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven history in overseeing the planning and implementation of multiple projects in product development in DeepTech. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team to design, develop and qualify cutting-edge technologies used to deliver the next generation of tactical terminal.

The SPM is accountable to drive the project from requirements definition, through design and development and onwards into prototype and production delivery.

Using project management tools and techniques, lead the development team to ensure to on-time and on-cost delivery against customer requirements and contracted delivery/payment milestones.

Requirements
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the senior management team, key stakeholders, and functional heads to build execution plans that align with the strategic goals.
• Continually manage multi-project dependencies across a portfolio of projects. Manage functional heads and/or project to deliver results that ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Translate Project status, risks, opportunities, and issues into reliable and regular reporting.
• Manage project scope and deliverables through a structured change management process to ensure customer expectations are met. Manage change control through planning and robust communication as requirements and priorities shift.
• Identify risk factors and escalate in advance. Lead cross-functional efforts to mitigate risk, develop contingency plans, or adjust project scope, resources, or timelines as needed. Negotiate with and/or influence senior management to resolve program or project level challenges.
• Ownership of the Project budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs throughout the financial year
• Track progress and provide updates to the programme team. Act as the single point of contact responsible for project schedule, cost, risks and scope. Assess actual performance against the project plans and adjust consistent with plan objectives.
• Ensure project management methodologies, standards, associated tools, deliverables, communication plans, and operational cadence are adopted to ensure consistent project execution.
• Manage the full lifecycle of new product development projects
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end project milestones and goals
• Leverage personal expertise as well as project leadership to coach and mentor project team members as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• +Five (+5) years of directly relevant experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes across multiple sites.
• Technical/Engineering (Electronics or Mechanical) background
• A project management qualification (e.g. APM PMQ, Prince2), or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to manage highly complex new product development projects through to product launch and project completion
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and experience in successfully leading projects / programmes.
• Ability to independently manage and lead all facets of a project, with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all levels in a team-oriented environment, including executive reporting.
• Ability to influence and direct multiple activities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Power PPM (or similar tool) and with experience of appropriate task management and project status visualisation tools, and resource management tools.
• Experience of training and developing other Project Managers
• Experience of working with Senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal. Fluency in written and spoken English
