Job purpose

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all projects within the business, as well as growing and leading the new Project Management Office.

This role is a an exciting opportunity that will see you build upon, and embed, the Project Management framework across the business and accelerate project delivery at Zumo's, aligned to our growth strategy and company roadmap. You will lead and work on a variety of business critical projects, leveraging your prior experience and expertise.

Reporting Line

You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the Executive Leadership team.

Salary

£80,000 to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements
Job Responsibilities:

• Successfully deliver business-critical projects centered around regulatory change and implementation, digital transformation, market entry into new jurisdictions, and technical delivery.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain all aspects of the Project Management Approach (PMA), ensuring high levels of business engagement.
• Ensure all required and relevant documentation is produced, maintained, and approved according to the PMA.
• Produce project reports for submission and presentation to the executive team, committees, and the Board.
• Take ownership of the production of the Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs for projects, working in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure appropriate risk and governance oversight for each project.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and progress trackers to be shared with Zumo's executive team, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
• Control the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring delivery feasibility.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams/clients in the spirit of partnership.
• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on the development and progress of existing and potential projects.

Skills:

• Possess excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and delivery timeframes.
• Exhibit excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with experience interacting at all levels, including the C-level.
• Employ a creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to focus on detail while maintaining the "big picture" view.
• Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships.
• Skilled in anticipating and solving problems.
• Act as an initiative-taking and flexible collaborator.
• Possess strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Have good presentation skills and experience in facilitating-and leading where required-client meetings and workshops.
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate, inspire, and collaborate effectively.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in a Project Management role, preferably in Financial Services and/or Technology start-up.
• Crypto sector experience a bonus.
• Recognised industry qualification such as Prince2, MSP, Agile PM or APMI Change Management as well as proven experience with MS Projects or similar scheduling software.
