Position

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll lead and deliver structural design packages across diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead structural design and technical delivery across project stages
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and project requirements
• Oversee project timelines, team resources, and deliverables
• Contribute to proposals, bids, and business development activities
• Uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout

Requirements

What You Bring

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Chartered (or working toward) with ICE or IStructE

Minimum 5 years' structural design and project delivery experience in the UK/Ireland

Skilled in structural analysis/design software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Robot)

Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and local regulations

Effective communicator and team leader, able to manage multiple priorities

Desirable
• Experience designing large-scale or complex structures
• Working knowledge of BIM processes and tools (e.g. Revit)
• Background in multidisciplinary consultancy environments
