We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team in the UK supporting a number of accounts.

The successful candidate will work closely with finance and business colleagues to ensure a successful month-end close process for all business lines, with accurate and timely reporting of month end financials, and adherence to financial control and processes.  

We are looking for someone who is flexible and dynamic and has the energy, commitment, and resilience to achieve targets in a challenging and evolving business environment. You will be able to prioritise and organise your own work to ensure deadlines are met, and you will be credible and collaborative and enjoy working as part of a team towards a common goal.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure accounting treatment is compliant with external accounting standards, including IFRS15
  • Provide the Management with valuable analysis of variances and risks, prepare and present monthly reporting packs
  • Management of working capital, driving invoicing and account cash collection through pro-active management of WIP and debt balances
  • Timely client reporting in line with open book requirements, support of projects that cut across the Finance Team

Your skills and experience

  • Part of Fully Qualified Accountant with expert proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Background in outsourced IT services or similar environments would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, must be credible with senior management.
  • Experience in preparation of all aspects of financial information with ability to prioritise and organise own work, to deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Work closely with the business to help make decisions and provide real time support and analysis and become a trusted advisor

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
