Senior Programming Strategy Manager, Live Sports

Prime Video Live Sports is seeking a Senior Programming Strategy Manager to manage operations in the UK, Europe and ROW. The Prime Video Sport Production team is responsible for delivering high quality live Sport productions to customers worldwide including UEFA Champions league, NBA, NFL, Premier League, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
In this role you will use your Programming, Production and Operational experience to plan and execute high profile events ensuring Programming, technical and commercial objectives are delivered. You will own and manage the project life cycle and day-to-day of assigned sports properties.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple sports categories from Launch planning through execution and ongoing oversight of day-to-day live events.
• Support Live Production team in implementing operational strategies across Prime Video Live Sports properties.
Align with production teams across other regions to sharing best practices and integrate new learnings and 'invent and simplify'.
• Evaluate, develop and execute workflows across existing and upcoming Sport rights.
• Work closely with Internal teams and 3rd party Vendors (e.g. Sport Producers, Advertising, Legal and compliance, business, technical) to launch and execute sports properties to tight deadlines.
• Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and provide clear updates to Senior leadership on all aspects of the sports property.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience communicating effectively with external partners and delivering results for advertisers
- Experience with data/analytics and using data to make deicisions
- Multiple years of experience in a Live broadcast environment.
- Experience creating and managing complex programming and scheduling projects across high-profile Live Sports rights.
- Extensive working knowledge of a wide range of EU,US and Global Sports including broadcast formats, advertising break patterns and Sponsorship integrations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading large projects and facilitate group meetings
