Are you a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive leader with experience of providing strategic leadership and direction.? We are recruiting for an exceptional Senior Programme Manager to join our forward-thinking and dedicated team!

This is a key leadership position within our Group Professional Services Business Unit, reporting directly to the Group CIO and working collaboratively across all business units and subsidiaries.

You will lead and deliver complex, multi-faceted programmes that underpin LTE Group's transformation and growth ambitions. From planning through to execution and evaluation, you'll ensure critical IS and change initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget-while maintaining a sharp focus on quality, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Information Services (IS) Department as a Senior Programme Manager on a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) basis. This is a hybrid role working from our Manchester office.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Programme or project management certification.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing complex, high-value programmes in a relevant sector (e.g., education, public sector, or commercial environment).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead digital transformation initiatives, embedding automation, analytics, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Proven experience in leading change, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training for successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Significant Experience managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • A proven track record of leading and developing complex project/programme competences in in cross functional and virtual team environment.
  • Significant experience with programme management methodologies (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, Agile) and relevant tools.
  • Use of complex financial and risk analysis to evaluate strategic options and opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organisational acumen, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to lead through change.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy to achieve tactical outcomes and strategic objectives.
