S ky Sports Production has responsibility for content delivery across all platforms, which includes outside broadcasts in the UK & worldwide as well as internal productions from Sky Studios. The team is responsible for all day-to-day planning, delivery & budget implementation across our varied & award-winning output.
What you'll do:
- Work within Sky Sports' production team to deliver smooth, planned & efficient processes that support outstanding content creation across all platforms. This will include planning events, bookings, accreditation, distributing planning documents and travel sheets, and budgeting.
- Manage the bookings of facilities, locations and staff for content production using demand & supply planning tools.
- Source and book all travel and accommodation for personnel including flights, hotels, visas and ground transportation, including proactive long-term planning in conjunction with T&E coordinator.
- Raise contracts, process invoices and expenses and resolve payment delays, ensuring suppliers and freelancers are paid on time.
- Provide support and training to new or less experienced Production Coordinators.
- Continuously review department processes to improve efficiency and take the lead on ad hoc projects
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience as a production co-ordinator in a live sports environment, including OB planning and onsite experience
- Substantial experience working with high-profile on-screen guests whilst maintaining professional standards and discretion.
- Demonstrating enthusiasm & initiative, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team, consistently delivering accurate results quickly and sharing knowledge and experience. You should be able to prioritise to ensure deadlines are met in efficient and proactive ways.
- Positive and willing approach to new challenges, able to adapt and apply knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
- Open minded and flexible, questions the status quo to identify opportunities for change and improvement.
- Explores all routes to solve a problem before seeking assistance, self-sufficient and uses initiative.
