Job Description

  • Be the European Product regional lead for Network Access and specific VisaNet based services, demonstrating deep knowledge of Network products, and their associated value proposition by leading client discussions on the technical configuration of the solutions.
  • Be accountable for defining regional processing requirements that may require enhancement of VisaNet, or result in rule changes.. Work closely with global product and cluster teams to develop internal and external business cases for system enhancements, and manage the project initiation phase.
  • Support the socialization and implementation of the new developments across the region, including support of the Business Enhancement Releases and the issuing of Visa Business News (VBN) Bulletins
  • Partners with the Core Application Go-to-market function to support and drive the seamless implementation and onboarding of Visa products.
  • Collaborate across EU Product to define and identify new product opportunities and close market gaps, provide analysis of competing solution, and understand impact of regulatory change on Visa's European Business.
  • Represents Network Products at various client forums presenting new processing related concepts and capturing feedback,
  • Works with the VAS function to drive adoption of products and services, providing support to clients where deep understanding is required.
  • Lead the development of new commercial propositions alongside the GTM and Pricing teams, and be accountable for the achievement specific network product revenue targets and supporting the overall EU product revenues.
  • Provide support to cross divisional initiatives within regional product and maintain productive relationships at all levels with the client and the Visa organization.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership levels of Visa management on key project and revenue metrics and objectives, adapt overall approach to address challenges/issues/opportunities.
  • As required support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within Network Products and broader Product organization

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Operational and IT payment processing environments, specifically VisaNet products or interbank payment processing infrastructure.
  • ISO 8583 knowledge
  • The ability to interpret and define regional business requirements for technical changes to VisaNet, and have operated in an agile project management environment.
  • Rigorous thinker, ability to transpose business, and technical understanding to relevant market inputs with account teams and product teams as well as with external client discussions
  • Understanding of how to scale and distribute products/services within a technology company
  • Ownership and driving impact are important aspects to the role, must have the mindset to fully understand and quickly overcome technical, industry and internal challenges to succeed.
  • Comfortable in iterative and continuous change to maximize opportunities and drive efficiencies.
  • Strong ability to progress solutions and enhancements with urgency and prioritized focus for commercial and strategic benefits for our customers and Visa
  • Understanding of European regulations impacting Visa processing business, specifically Interchange fee regulation and payment services directive
