Senior Product Manager, ITVX Content Experience

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Core Experience Product Group.

This role will primarily focus on leading the product management of the ITVX content discovery experience and supporting strategic projects to grow ITVX. The successful candidate will lead product development activities across several ITV functions and with our development teams.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will need significant experience in developing consumer-facing digital products on Smart/Connected TV, web, and mobile platforms, and a strong track record of managing data-driven, value-based product development.

Responsibilities:

• Translate customers' core experience needs and business requirements into a Product Strategy for your cross-functional area
• Prioritise the development backlog by assessing the business value of product initiatives.
• Lead the discovery and development of device-centric capabilities and features that enhance the viewer's experience in the ITVX app
• Lead a cross-functional team towards a roadmap that is data-driven and prioritised based on value and feasibility
• Take the initiative to really understand the viewer experience on devices and propose optimisations that are driven through data and testing
• Take ownership of complex cross-functional problems and seeing them through to a resolution
• Manage and keep stakeholders informed at all levels across Product, Technology, Delivery, Marketing, Commercial and Legal to build a vision and roadmap
• Provide guidance and mentoring to core-level Product Managers within the team.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

• Significant experience (3 years+) of leading product development, ideally on video streaming platforms (Web, Connected/Smart TV and Mobile)
• Detailed knowledge of streaming TV platform functionalities and capabilities.
• Strong data-centric product development skills including confidence in setting objectives, measuring performance and storytelling through data
• Strong analytical skills and ability to self-serve data insights via platforms such as Google Analytics and Amplitude.
• Excellent ability to lead collaboration across technical development, design and product teams to build incremental product value.
• Experience working across suppliers and teams and ensuring consistency of approach and unity of direction
• Strong champion of Agile product development methods.

• Flexible and creative approach to problem solving
