Are you passionate about shaping the future of digital workplace technology? At ASOS, we're looking for a dynamic Product Manager to join our Tech & Digital Product team. This role is all about understanding ASOSer needs, defining a compelling vision, and ensuring our Devices, Endpoint Management services, and Microsoft Workplace tooling align with our strategic goals. You'll be at the forefront of configuring, securing, and optimising our digital workplace solutions.
As a Product Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our products and services, using Digital Workplace tooling to shape their direction and delivery at ASOS. Your role involves understanding other Product Manager and ASOSer needs, defining products & services, prioritising initiatives, and measuring performance to drive continuous improvement.
You'll own the entire product lifecycle-from discovery to configuration and go live, ensuring that the team is solving the right Technology and End User problems in alignment with the Technology and Cyber Security strategic goals. You'll lead the product discovery process, working with other product managers, third parties, users, and stakeholders to define clear product objectives and success metrics. By managing the product backlog, you'll guide the team in agile development, making real-time prioritisation decisions, and iterating based on feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Leadership
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap, aligned with ASOS's strategic business goals and ASOSer needs. Clearly articulate the why behind the product and prioritize features.
- Problem Definition: Work with stakeholders from Digital Workplace and Cyber Security to deeply understand ASOSer pain points, identify opportunities, and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Conception to Launch: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and market research to configuration, product go live, and retirement.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, ASOSer needs, and market trends.
- Prioritization: Prioritize product features and enhancements based on ASOSer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Product Management
- Frameworks and Methodologies: Implement relevant methodologies to ensure iterative development, continuous feedback, and rapid configuration of product features.
- Innovation & Problem-Solving: Encourage creative problem-solving and a test-and-learn approach to configuring solutions that continue to improve the Digital Workplace capabilities for ASOSers.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes and outcomes to enhance product development efficiency.
- Customer Feedback Integration
- User Research: Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine the product roadmap based on internal customer feedback, business priorities, and tech opportunities. Ensure that the team learns and iterates rapidly.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Serve as the voice of the internal customer within the team, ensuring that all decisions are grounded in delivering the best possible experience for users.
- KPI Setting and Tracking
- KPIs & Success Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure availability, security, and reliability ensuring that each solution delivered drives tangible business outcomes.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on product performance to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement and compliance.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to inform product decisions, leveraging customer insights and analytics to validate assumptions and prioritise the right features.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with product managers, cyber security, and Infrastructure Project Delivery teams to deliver solutions.
- Communication: Clearly communicate product vision, goals, and progress to all relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Alignment: Ensure alignment across departments to achieve unified product objectives and seamless execution.
