Your mission

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our Workforce Experience product. You will be working in a full stack cross-functional product squad with full ownership to define the vision, strategy and roadmap. You must be able to inspire and lead the broader product & engineering team with a deep passion and hunger to solve the problems our customers and the industry is faced with.

How you will contribute:

  • Be the Product & Customer Expert - be the companies 'go-to-expert' on your Product, the industry landscape and its customers.
  • Lead the Product - you are responsible for owning, communicating (internally & externally) and delivering on the product vision and roadmap.
  • Drive Growth - be jointly responsible for the growth, revenue and customer satisfaction of your Product.
  • Evangelise Data-Driven decision making - work collaboratively with designers and analysts to fully understand your OKRs, KPIs and customers to inform and defend your product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Execute your roadmap - ensure there is a backlog that aligns with our customer needs and our overall strategic direction and has complete buy-in from engineers, designers and stakeholders.

  • Are an exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills to drive and motivate a team with diverse backgrounds and skills and ensure that all your stakeholders are informed and motivated to support the product.
  • Have substantial experience working with designers and engineers in a cross functional product team.
  • Are passionate about Product Management and are constantly looking to learn and improve your skills

Compensation

Competitive salary of £82,000 - £90,000: Our salary formula adjusts to your cost of living and experience. We also grant generous stock options to any permanent employee at the end of the probation period. We adjust salaries based on the cost of living index for employees based outside of the UK.

Location

This role will need to be based in one of the following countries; UK, Spain, Ireland, Germany or France. We organise regular in-person events and online socials to make sure you can meet up with peers. If you want to come to the offices in London or Berlin, you're most welcome of course! Birdie cannot currently support any visa applications, we do require permanent right to work in the role's location

L&D budget

Growth is key. You'll have a personal development budget to put towards books (e.g., free audible subscription), courses, trainings and conferences; continuous coaching within the team and with external experts

Base holiday & Christmas leave

30 days + Birdie closes between Christmas Eve and New Year so you can have some down time with your loved ones. This is in addition to your base holiday!

Birthday leave

You can take your birthday off when it falls on a weekday!

Parental Leave

Highly favourable parental leave policy; once you have spent twelve consecutive months on our payroll, primary caregivers are entitled to 26 weeks of parental leave at 100% of your usual salary and secondary caregivers are entitled to 12 weeks of parental leave, at 100% of your usual salary.

Fertility Leave

Birdie recognises the emotional and physical challenges which may arise during fertility treatments, and supports all Birdies by offering 5 additional paid days of leave.
