We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, planning, delivery, marketing and in-life optimization of the Zendesk product.

The Lead Zendesk Developer is responsible for managing a team of engineers/developers that are responsible for the designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations for the Zendesk platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Zendesk's API, programming languages, and web development principles to create and enhance solutions that improve customer support processes, experiences and creates business value.

You'll be a collaborative leader across Product + Design + Engineering, using foundations of discovery and data-driven delivery, to build solutions that get our Veterinary clients and Support Operations engaging with us in new ways and, help our clinic professionals deliver healthier outcomes to more pets.

Day to day, the Senior Product Manager will oversee the product Strategy that will:

* Translate business strategy into product strategy - Articulate the product vision

* Drive and deliver the product roadmap for Zendesk

* Execute product strategy

* Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market

* Plan and carry out product launches

* Manage product profitability and commercial success - own the business case

* Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market

* Manage Zendesk product marketing activities

* Write high-level requirements - typically as user stories and epics

* Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues

* Work with the Zendesk team, product team, engineering team, support, operations, HR, finance teams, and operations teams to ensure a strong product vision

* Manage relations with the Supplier and oversee license management

* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve the client experience

* Manage everything that must be done to build, ship, and maintain the product.

* Line manager for development team and knowledge managent.

* Maintain and prioritize the product backlog

* Track releases

* Participate in daily product meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives

* Manage Zendesk development and support through the development team.

* Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and best practices to stay current with industry trends and improve the overall effectiveness of custom solutions

Note: There may be an occasional requirement for the job holder to work out of hours during projects and implementations.

Ideally, the Senior Product Manager will have:

* Depth: You've spent time (~5+ years) creating and shipping intuitive digital experiences, with the product impact experience to back it up

* Domain: Experience in Service Management solutions strongly favored

* Strategy: Experience defining and executing a product engagement strategy

* Influence: Experience in large/complex multinational organizations with a wide array of stakeholders (transformation a plus!)

* Data Skills: CLTV analysis, product analytics, marketing channel / app growth, data skills, A/B testing, Pricing

* Building: You've driven the plan and execution of several successful products

* Strategic Thinking
