Senior Digital Product Designer (Freelance to Permanent)

£450 per day → £70,000 permanent | Hybrid | Soho / Fitzrovia, London

We're hiring a Senior Digital Product Designer to join a Digital Experience Studio (agency) in Soho / Fitzrovia. This role starts on a freelance basis (£450/day) with a clear route to permanent (£70k).

This is a hands-on senior role for a designer with a strong agency background, working across digital products, apps and responsive web. Strong UI craft is essential.
Role Overview

• Start: ASAP
• Contract: Freelance to Permanent
• Location: Soho / Fitzrovia, London
• Hybrid: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday, fixed)
• Work pattern: Full-time
• Level: Senior

The Role

• This is for someone with a bold, minimal, start-up vibe style led UI.
• Own UI across complex user journeys and interactions
• Senior-level Figma use (design systems, components, prototyping)
• Collaborate with UX, engineering and delivery teams
• Contribute to and maintain design systems
• Apply brand expression within functional products
• Use UX fundamentals (IA, journeys, prototyping, testing)
• Design with accessibility and inclusion in mind
• Present work to clients and support workshops

What We're Looking For

• Strong agency experience as a Senior Product / Digital / UI Designer
• Excellent UI craft and attention to detail
• Advanced Figma capability
• Confident working client-facing

Tools

Core: Figma, prototyping tools, Miro, Google Workspace, Photoshop
Bonus: Motion (After Effects or equivalent), basic 3D, exposure to AI, voice, chatbots or AR
