The role
Reporting to the Head of Product Design and Design Systems, you will work in a cross-functional product group whose mission is to create solid and delightful streaming experiences that meet user needs and business goals.You will use your experience across data-driven and user-centric design, HDI, UX and UI to grow our products and services by optimising the paths that our prospect and lapsed viewers take to connect with the core value of our streaming service, ITVX.
To be able to hit the ground running, you must have proven experience in a consumer tech product design role, and be able to demonstrate a track record of driving growth and product success. This role will span across multi-platform experiences, from mobile to web and Connected TV's.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Ability to initiate, define, and lead product initiatives and features
- Background in creating data-led design solutions
- Comfortable running and planning design workshops and design thinking processes/methodologies
- Confident in design exploration within Figma
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships and collaborations with Product Manager, Engineering, Research, Data and Editorial content teams
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Lead product initiatives from concept to launch, focusing on increasing monthly active users, driving business impact, and enhancing customer engagement across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, using data-led design solutions to deliver new features and improvements that contribute to growth objectives, user acquisition, and retention
- Partner with internal and external design teams to explore innovative opportunities, optimise authentication processes, streamline transactions, and enhance partner integrations
- Facilitate design workshops with senior stakeholders to communicate the value of design solutions in converting users and driving business outcomes
- Own the end-to-end design process, from exploration and UX specifications to polished UI designs, ensuring seamless implementation with engineering teams
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior team members, promoting best practices, and driving efficiency and innovation in design methodologies
