Position Purpose:
The Senior Producer is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects. This role owns the full project lifecycle-from initial planning and development through to execution, monitoring, and final delivery-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
As a key project leader, the Senior Producer defines and drives the overall execution strategy. You will translate client requirements into clear, actionable project plans, aligning technical solutions, operational capabilities, and financial objectives. A critical part of the role is balancing standard and bespoke approaches to meet client expectations while maintaining efficiency and control.
Working closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts, you will guide collaboration, solve complex challenges, and steer projects through changing demands. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring teams are aligned, risks are managed, and solutions are both practical and effective.
This is a senior-level position requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive performance across multiple workstreams. Ultimately, you will be accountable for delivering successful project outcomes while balancing technical feasibility, operational excellence, and commercial performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Project Management
Successful delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects project scope, schedule, and budget
Ensure that the Client's vision is considered throughout the Project lifecycle.
Drives Client satisfaction, exceeding expectations regularly.
Internal and external communication of Project status and progress
Leadership of final deliverables, ensuring TAIT quality throughout delivery
Draw together the engineering, manufacturing, operational and support disciplines to ensure Project success.
Risk monitoring and delay management.
Leadership ownership of Project financials
Bidding & Development
Lead in translating Client needs into "TAIT language".
Ensure that the Client's vision is considered throughout the Bidding phase.
Generate or collaborate on Project Proposals and Quotes.
Drive the development of creative and technical solutions.
Leadership in the cost estimates and determine contingencies.
Establish pricing and payment schedules.
Commercial, Contractual & Legal
Understand the Project's commercial terms as outlined in the contract, along with contractual & legal relationships formed between TAIT and the project client.
Act as a Client advocate within TAIT by ensuring the highest levels of Customer Service and sustaining the boutique experience that our Clients have come to expect.
Maintain a unique connection to our Clients, their teams, and their stakeholders
Ensure TAIT's duties & responsibilities are properly executed. Ensure the client executes their duties correctly and, where necessary, ensure TAITs interests are protected.
Project Finances & Budgets
Plan cashflow schedule according to proposals and contracts
Maintain payment schedule and invoicing
Lead the development of "As Sold" budget at the outset of a Project
Maintain ongoing Forecasts to track for deviations throughout Project lifecycle
Monitor and control Project costs and Change Orders (Extras)
Raise early flags for potential risks as well as opportunities
Provide periodic project status reports
Organizational Relationships & Participation
Accountable leader for the Project to senior leadership and executive teams.
Develop and maintain good relationships with Project Performance and Operations groups
Proactive, open, and transparent communication
Attend (and/or organize) regular check-in meetings
Monitor team in identifying who should be "around the table" for strategic conversations
Utilize relationships to resolve challenges, conflicts, or disputes within a Project or between competing Projects
Attend global and regional "All Hands" and similar organization meetings and gatherings
Stay up to date on time clocking, expense report submittals, and other administrative tasks
Continuous Improvements
Drive opportunities for minor and major improvements in the Project Process
Participate in departmental and organizational initiatives
Ensure "Lessons Learned" discussions occur for Projects that warrant celebrations of positive outcomes and critical reflection of negative outcomes
Education and Growth
Knowledgeable of TAIT's history and capabilities, to represent the Enterprise brand and collaborate with Clients.
Actively seek opportunities to build new skills and hone or improve existing skills.

Requirements:
- Experience in Entertainment Industry or Project Management
OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, Construction Management, Liberal Arts - Theater Design/Technology or a related field, plus 2+ years' experience in Entertainment Industry or Project Management. - Client management experience in successfully delivering production solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization at this level of responsibility
- Able to use / learn proprietary budget accounting system, such as Deltek, Epicor
- Able to use / learn scheduling software, such as Asana, MicroSoft Project, Gantter, or Merlin.
- Able to create basic spreadsheet calculations.
- In-depth knowledge of project process to be able to develop project strategies and scopes and schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of project process to be able to help develop vendor RFPs, respond to RFIs, write contract scopes, and evaluate bids.
- Knowledge of design management, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation and variety of vendors.
- Knowledge in location-based entertainment related architectural, project management, organizational, and production, fabrication and construction practices.
- Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate positive and productive communication between all disciplines.
- Experience having some actualized projects in field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entertainment development experience; major theme park/themed
- Experience in "large project" themed entertainment design and/or management.
- Experience managing location-based entertainment technologies such as ride, audio, video, projection, show control, animatronics, etc.
- Experience in related fields, such as live entertainment and event production and operation.
