We're seeking an enthusiastic Senior Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team to support Five Guys streamline Capex & Facilities spend across our ambitious expansion plans. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company, overseeing construction supplier management, cost control, and procurement across multiple European markets.

THE ROLE

As the Five Guys Senior Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, minimising construction costs, and ensuring projects meet both budget and the Five Guys brand standards. You will work closely with our construction teams to manage costs, tenders, contracts, and supplier negotiations.

You will participate in key initiatives including value engineering, historical data collection and review of the various operations processes and Kitchen Equipment, and along-side the Five Guys International Team where necessary, to drive down Capex and Facilities costs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • You'll minimise Capex Costs, ensuring new store builds meet brand standards while optimising construction and facilities costs across the UK, France, Germany, and Spain.
  • Manage suppliers and identify, benchmark, and onboard new suppliers/service providers. Manage re-tendering and supplier negotiations to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Cost Reduction & Value Engineering - you will lead cost-saving initiatives and value engineering projects to reduce Capex and facilities spend without impacting quality or operational efficiency.
  • You'll manage procurement strategies, tender processes, and contract negotiations to secure the best value for the business.
  • You will have a collaborative working style and work closely with internal teams (Construction, Property and Operations) and external suppliers to ensure smooth implementation of projects and changes to the supplier base.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in managing Capex and Facilities spend, supplier relationships, and procurement in construction projects.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing tenders, and securing cost-effective deals with suppliers and contractors.
  • Extensive market knowledge and familiarity with the construction and facilities management landscape in the UK, France, Germany, and Spain.
  • You will be an inspirational leader with the ability to manage and mentor a small team, and collaborate effectively across various international markets.
  • You'll have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and act on cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the management of Capex & Facilities budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and minimized throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Conduct benchmarking, identify new suppliers, and lead supplier onboarding processes to secure the best value.
  • Develop and manage contracts for all suppliers, ensuring compliance and cost savings.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of information and implementation of supplier changes.
  • Oversee facilities management processes across markets, ensuring high service standards at the lowest possible cost.

LOCATION

  • This role is based in our West London Office including some remote working
  • Travel and overnight stays across the operational territories will be a requirement for the role, flexibility is essential.
