About the Role:

The role exists set and maintain a high standard of work, communication and consideration for fellow workers across shifts, providing support to the Group Leader/Senior Group Leader on a daily basis to perform tasks required to meet the production targets in the most efficient and timely manner. Other tasks also include:

• To provide support to the Group Leader/Senior Group Leader in the maintenance of departmental systems and records.

• To provide coaching and advice to other Process Workers leading to continually improving efficiency, standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), safety and quality.

• To assist with the training of other Process Workers in order to develop their skills to a level of competency which will allow them to carry out allocated tasks with the minimum of supervision.

• To contribute to the efficient and effective production / Manufacture of Finished Licensed and Special products in accordance with written procedures (Work Orders/Departmental Instructions/SOPs) and cGMP through the application of job specific and personal skills in a safe and timely manner to achieve the planned production targets.
• To ensure that the recording of tasks and events on work orders and associated in-process documentation is carried out in real time and accurately.

• To perform ancillary tasks associated with the operation of the manufacturing department, including cleaning and disinfection, tanker offloading, equipment calibration and maintenance and warehouse activities.

• To work cross functionally across both the liquids and creams production streams.

• To stand in as Group Leader as required to cover for both planned and unplanned periods of absence, taking on all the responsibilities of the shift supervisor with the exception of implementation of disciplinary procedures.
