Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join our successful Private Markets Investment Solutions Team as a Senior Private Markets Investment Specialist driving origination, design and delivery of new business projects for the Private Markets platform in key growth areas including Energy Transition, Impact Investing, Living and Emerging Private Market sectors.

Private Markets Investment Solutions is a dynamic and expanding team with several newly created roles available for candidates with a variety of experience and backgrounds. As part of the team these positions will play a key role in helping to shape and drive the ambitious future growth targets for Legal & General Investment Management's Private Markets business in 2024 and beyond.

Duties include:

  • Leverage an extensive external network to originate innovative ideas, market intelligence and opportunities for the platform
  • Principal for the delivery of strategic new business projects which further LGIM's strategic goal of Private Markets expansion
  • Pitch new business proposals to strategic investors and key internal stakeholders
  • Principal for triage of new business opportunities
  • Co-ordinate business proposals and presentations to support new business initiatives
  • Act as a specialist subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with LGIM's product and distribution teams to contribute specialist Private Markets knowledge for strategic growth projects in launch, development, or change
  • A key contributor to business planning and project prioritisation
  • Work with the Sales Team to support distribution for existing and new Private Markets solutions to grow AUM and revenue streams

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the real estate, infrastructure, or private equity sectors, ideally in a client or investment facing role
  • A passion for working on growth projects in the private markets space
  • Strong persuasive writing, business case and presentation skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude to problem solving and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised and versatile, with an ability to multi-task
  • A collaborator who can connect well with teammates, reports, Fund Managers and Senior Management
  • An ambition to succeed
