Role Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our growing Animal Health Pricing Team. The team is responsible for building technical Pricing models and monitoring the risk to support the market leading brand PetPlan as well as our growing LV pet proposition. A great advantage of being a member of the Animal Health Pricing team is the extensive training provided. The UK team has collaborated with the worldwide Allianz Group, to deliver an accreditation scheme designed to train you in all aspects of pricing. From data science modelling in cutting edge software to automating optimisation calculation routines honed across global markets.
As a valued member of the team you will:
- Build sophisticated pricing tools using Willis Tower Watson tools (Emblem and Radar) to predict the impact of pricing decisions before they are deployed to market;
- Play a pivotal role in the delivery and enhancement of our WTW Radar Live capability;
- Be part of many projects involving Machine Learning: Data preparation, Automation, Risk monitoring.
- Be responsible for deploying rating enhancements to market in a timely and precise manner;
- Contribute to the development of pricing structures and strategies to achieve growth and profitability objectives
- Support initiatives to maintain our "Excellent" Technical Price Certification;
- Share and promote knowledge, skills and best working practices within the team;
- Be fully supported in your development and wider career ambitions

About YouThis is a great role for someone looking to develop their data and analytics skills to drive and improve business outcomes. To be successful in this role you will have the following;
- A minimum of two years of general insurance pricing experience
- Strong experience of using Radar pricing software
- Strong problem solving skills, logically working through scenarios and thinking multiple steps ahead to understand potential impacts
- Experience of using data analytics tools for example Python, R, SQL,SAS, Excel, VBA or WTW tools
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills when working with large volumes of complex data
- Experience of using Radar Live (an advantage)
- Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- You will be qualified to degree level and have a high degree of numerical ability: E.g. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics
