Job Description
Are you an Occupational therapist that wants to take clinical ownership of complex rehabilitation journeys; developing others while developing services? If you are, then this exiting new role in our team might be perfect for you.
Milton Grange provides a short- term rehabilitation to people recovering from a period of illness or injury. There are 27 generic beds for people with a range of physical health needs and 10 beds for people with mental health needs.
The aim of the service is to facilitate timely discharges from hospital, maximise people's independence to enable them to return home and to prevent unnecessary admissions to hospital.
This role offers the opportunity to combine advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and rehabilitation-focused OT practice to maximise individuals independence and long-term outcomes whilst providing strong leadership and support to your team.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Have the ability to work on complex cases, requiring high level of clinical reasoning and professional input
- Are able to work constructively and jointly with colleagues and other health care professionals
- Have the ability to supervise, mentor and motivate staff
