Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • NMC, HCPC Registration

Desirable criteria

  • Post qualification training mental health

Expereince

Essential criteria

  • Post qualification experience working in a CMHT or inpatients
  • Experience of working collaboratively with patients, carers and MDT to develop community care plans
  • Evidence of post specialist training and development
  • Experience of completing audits and understanding how to implement action plans
  • Knowledge of the requirements under the care programme approach including needs of carers

Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership role

Knowledge and Skills

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of contributing and providing consultation to an MDT
  • Evidence of ability to lead on implementation of trust wide strategies
  • Evidence of continued learning
  • Evidence of providing line management and IPDR
  • Evidence of supporting students
  • Knowledge of clinical governance processes
  • Evidence of knowledge around multi agency meetings
  • Understanding of Knowledge Skills framework for agenda for change
  • Understanding of the needs and rights of carers
  • Understanding of national initiatives and policies in relation to SMI
  • Evidence of completing a psychosocial assessment, risk management plan and crisis plan
  • Evidence of supporting and empowering junior members of staff
  • Knowledge of duty assessments, duty triage and effective crisis management for SMI
  • Evidence of knowledge around safeguarding

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge or training in a recovery focused intervention PSI,BFT,SCM
  • Knowledge of commissioning packages of care.

Work related circumstances

Essential criteria

  • Able to travel across the Salford footprint
  • Able to contribute to the BOC/BOS system
