Salary up to £54,824 per annum
(Basic Salary £44,208 - £50,424 + Market Supplement of £5,400)*
Grade F
Permanent Contract

Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic, passionate Senior Practitioners in our Child and Family Assessment Team. The successful candidate should have a proven track record completing s17 and S47 assessments, they should also be able to support the Team Manager in day to day delivery of services and promoting positive outcomes for the Children and Families working with Thurrock. Thurrock provides an opportunity to develop good social work practice and work with an ambitious, supportive management team.
Rated Good across all areas in our most recent Ofsted Inspection, Thurrock Council are now looking forward to not only maintaining a good rating, but striving for outstanding. We are looking for talented Team Managers who can help provide outstanding care, good outcomes and support to care leavers.
Thurrock has a friendly and supportive Childrens Services Department and we work within the Signs of Safety model, use a contextual safeguarding approach and are passionate about developing social work staff with a good training and development offer.
