Salary: £42,498- £46,344 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) Plus market premia of £2,250
Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week

About the Role
The role of a senior practitioner is so important to the children and families we work with as well as the team around you. You will be a part of the Team and work alongside another senior practitioner who is also part-time. The role is to have a smaller caseload of children presenting complex needs as well as support PODS, development of new staff and newly qualified staff, as well as being a deputy to the team manager..
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must have:
- A social work qualification (degree or equivalent)
- Experience of social work practice working with children and families.
- An understanding of Trauma-informed practice
- Ability to communicate clearly, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse information to reach a decision as well as manage performance.
- Evidence of the supervision of staff.
- Ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks, with the ability to respond flexibly to changing requirements.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
