Full Time, PermanentA fantastic opportunity has arisen for the post of a Senior Practitioner in the South Locality Team. This could also be offered as a secondment opportunity for eligible internal candidates who are seeking to develop their skills and gain experience in a leadership role.
As Senior Practitioner, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in:
- Offering practice guidance, consultation, supervision, mentoring, and workload oversight for Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners.
- Coordinate S.42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries, chairing strategy meetings and complex MDT meetings
- Undertake duty management on a rota basis and case work when required
- Support with case allocations
- Deputise for Team Manager in operational leadership as needed and support with providing an efficient running of service for the service users in South Locality, within the newly restructured adult social care framework.
- Taking strength based and person-centred approach.
What we're looking for
- We are particularly looking for professionally curious and experienced practitioners in Adult Social Care with Social Work qualification registered with Social Work England.
- Innovative problem solver with experience in safeguarding practice.
- Strong legal knowledge: Care Act, MCA/DOLS, Human Rights Act, Equalities Act
- Experience chairing meetings, managing risk, and supervising staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, team-working, and professional communication skills, whilst following internal process.
