We are recruiting four senior practitioner posts across the city. We are looking for candidates that recognise the value of multidisciplinary working and promote a whole service approach, with our internal & external colleagues.

In all teams, the work is fast paced, including Safeguarding Adults enquiries, Care Act assessments and a good knowledge of local services, including tier 1 & 2.

You will have support from their team manager & service manager.

You must have an interest in, and experience of, working in a multi-disciplinary way, be able to work quickly and proportionately and have confidence in respect of decision making and positive risk taking.

You will ensure citizens have the right professional expertise for their presenting needs at the earliest opportunity: preventing or delaying the need for care and support through maximising independence, autonomy, community engagement, managing or enabling risk, and health promotion.

The Senior Practitioner role involves supervising social care practitioners, social workers, and overseeing the development of ASYEs & student social workers; being part of the leadership team and undertaking strategic work; and building relationships with internal and external partners.

You will need to be a good communicator, with excellent time management skills. A social work or occupational therapy qualification and registration with relevant bodies.

You will have a full induction and opportunities for training and continuous professional development activities . Agile working policy in place for home working.
