Based in London, this position will lead and implement high-profile, consumer publicity campaigns for events, series and content debuting on Paramount channels in London, with a focus on youth, reality and entertainment genres,. The Senior PR Manager will support the Head of Publicity and work closely with the team to lead, develop and implement scalable press strategies working with the International PR Team to secure high-profile talent for interviews; planning and hosting virtual, hybrid, and in-person press junkets, premieres, and red carpets. The position will also be responsible for writing press materials from LAEs to press releases. The right candidate will be highly organised, an incredible multi-tasker, an excellent writer, great talent relations, proactive, and passionate about reality and entertainment.

What will you be doing?

  • An exciting role for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude, the Senior PR Manager will be joining the Publicity team to lead on the youth, reality and entertainment strategy for series/events across Paramount Brands including Paramount+.
  • Liaising with the International team to ensure publicity opportunities are improved.
  • Excellent Talent management skills are an essential part of this role.
  • Execution of global publicity campaigns for priority new shows & events; developing and pitching news stories, features and talent interviews.
  • Pitching to press and placing clips, pictures, and news pieces.
  • Nurture key relationships with influencers, digital outlets as well as traditional print, online and broadcast media.
  • Combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognize media angles and generate positive coverage across a broad media and influencer spectrum; Advise on press angles for streaming content and take part in PR Hub brainstorms and creative thinking process.
  • Monitor media platforms to see opportunities.
  • Set up, implement and lead interviews, screening events and press junkets for streaming content.
  • Create coverage reports post campaign and updating key partners regularly.
  • Embrace the 'One Paramount' approach and encourage collaboration and team working.
  • Be an ambassador for all Paramount internally and externally.
  • Adopt and promote the Paramount values and support a culture of inclusion.

What are we looking for?

  • Incredibly strong publicity skills - a strong understanding of the media landscape (traditional and digital), editorial requirements and what makes a story - a keen 'nose for news'.
  • Experience within the PR/TV/Music/Streaming/Entertainment/media industry with good TV/Streaming contacts including editors, critics, writers and influencers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with talent, influencers, digital outlets as well as traditional print, online and broadcast media.
  • Experience in leading and running a reactive and pro-active press office, handling incoming press enquiries, and raising any crises led issues.
  • Polished communications professional with excellent negotiator, presenter, influencer and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with talent management from facilitating photo-shoots to stunts and press junkets to scheduling management, travel bookings, red carpet events (including flagship events like EMAs, VIMAs, Isle of Malta and MTV Movie Awards), facilitating departmental requests and ensuring talent represent the brand.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with phenomenal attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter / confidence in working with senior partners across the wider business and internationally.
  • Ideas generation to help keep the team creatively vibrant and encourage creativity and proactivity within the streaming PR team.
  • Demonstrable understanding and experience of the social media landscape and platforms including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, Vine, Instagram etc.
  • Ability to manage both traditional and digital publicity strategies to promote streaming content, from programming to brand and events
  • Excellent writing ability - from press releases and corporate Q & A's to Awards submissions.
  • Self-starter who can tackle any task no matter how big or small.
  • Personable and adaptable teammate with a flexible attitude - some work required out of hours.
  • A genuine passion for music, reality, popular culture, film and television, Paramount brands & entertainment is a requirement.
  • Key point of contact for Paramount publicity projects and support teams and projects across the paramount portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively in an integrated team to support business objectives and create impactful 360 campaigns.
