We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Patient Safety & Compliance Manager to join our Clinical Governance Team here at The London Clinic, based in Marylebone, London (W1G 6JA).
We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £60,848 - £71,495 per annum.

Job Profile
The Patient Safety Manager will provide strong leadership in patient safety across the organisation, ensuring that patient safety is a top priority and implemented in line with national guidance and the Clinic's strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Governance, the postholder will play a key role in ensuring that patient safety processes are robust and compliance is maintained with both regulatory and statutory obligations. They will work to embed the patient safety plan and support continuous quality improvement and patient outcomes through initiatives, including the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
In this management role, the postholder will provide assurance to the Board and regulators by fostering a high quality approach to patient safety throughout the organisation. They will also deputise for the Head of Clinical Governance when required, ensuring seamless oversight of patient safety operations. The role will also involve;
- Provide line management to the Patient Safety Team.
- Offer professional leadership, advice and support in relation to patient safety and compliance.
- Deputise for the Head of Clinical Governance when required, providing guidance on all aspects of patient safety.
- Oversee the patient safety incident process, ensuring quality, timely investigations, reporting and patient safety improvement.
- Provide expert knowledge on incident management, human factors analysis and patient safety improvement.
- Lead the Mortality & Morbidity process, ensuring adherence to national guidance.
- Manage the implementation of NHS England's Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring appropriate levels of investigation and grading.
Skills & Experience
- Registered General Nurse or Healthcare Professional.
- Ideally post-graduate in clinical or healthcare governance, or evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience within a governance or patient safety role within a clinical setting, including the management of incidents and events.
- Experience of driving patient safety and the associated strategies.
- Knowledge of health services and the delivery of health care.
- Understanding and knowledge of root cause analysis investigations.
- Experience of training staff.
