Base salary: £54878 pa to £64562 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

As The Senior Policy & Process Manager you will be responsible for leading the work of the ACA team to define, maintain and embed ACA controls (policies, process, procedures, etc.) including working with multiple functions to update and embed their controls where applicable to ACA. The role is responsible for ensuring the ACA element of HS2's control environment incl. IMS, is up to date, comprehensive and delivering the intended outcomes. The scope of this role covers all 7x ACA tests, all stages of the cost lifecycle, and HS2 Ltd and supply-chain ACA activity. Provide direct input to Taskforce 2B (The Bridge) and Taskforce 2C in relation to ACA policy, process and contractor obligations. This role reports directly to the Head of ACA Strategy.

About the role:

  • Leading the development and management of a robust, auditable and transparent ACA governance and assurance framework incl. leading integration with other functions processes e.g. commercial, finance, project controls, counter-fraud
  • Ensure policies, processes, procedures and WIs are developed to support application of systematic end-to-end ACA across the programme
  • Lead development of training to enhance understanding and compliance with ACA controls across HS2 functions and Tier 1 contractors
  • Provide operational expertise and guidance to HS2 delivery teams and supply-chain on ACA controls
  • Ensure HS2 ACA remains compliant with UK legislation and standards

About you:

  • Ability to assess current policies and processes across multiple functions, identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities
  • Ability to develop clear, concise and integrated process and procedures that support efficient and effective ACA across the programme
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and train diverse user groups in the practical application of process
  • Experience of gathering and analysing information and requirements from multiple stakeholders and sources
