How you'll make a difference
In this newly created role, the Senior Platform Manager is the leader responsible for the service design and operation of our new core solution ecosystem. The largest transformation programme in the Society's 140 year history.
Utilising your strong technical and service management background, you will own the service implementation to support new capabilities delivered by the programme as well as interfaces into the wider organisation and ecosystem.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Substantial experience of IT Service Management of platforms and services across both internal and external capabilities across a complex ecosystem
- A strong technical background in IT Infrastructure, including public cloud (ideally Azure) and integration platforms
- Management of multi-vendor contracts and operating models ensuring agreed targets are met to deliver a cohesive end to end solution
- Previous experience of partner/supplier management particularly SaaS based services
- Co-ordination of complex releases across multiple vendors and approaches including evergreen is highly desirable
- Has the credibility, gravitas and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- People leadership experience
