The Role
As a Senior Planner, you'll take the lead on high-profile and complex planning projects. You'll act as a key advisor to clients, guide junior colleagues, and drive projects to successful outcomes while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the preparation, submission, and management of complex planning applications and appeals.
• Provide strategic planning advice to clients across diverse sectors.
• Conduct in-depth site appraisals and deliver innovative planning solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Stay updated on changes to planning legislation and local policies to ensure compliance and strategic insight.

About You

• Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Full membership of the RTPI (MRTPI) or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a planning role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Expertise in UK planning legislation, policies, and development processes.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
