Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: St Helens, UK
Salary: £35k+ (Competitive, DOE)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Planner to join our growing team in St Helens. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality planning services, working on a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning applications from inception through to approval.
- Provide expert advice to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review planning documents, reports, and assessments.
- Navigate complex planning issues and provide solutions.
- Liaise with local authorities, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in planning.
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and processes.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering planning projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Chartered status (RTPI) preferred but not essential.
