Senior Planner

My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Town Planner to join their team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Urban Planning and Development with a passion for creating sustainable and vibrant communities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of complex development projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct research and analysis to support planning decisions and project proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and regulatory bodies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to inform planning strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Strong knowledge of planning principles, zoning regulations, and environmental impact assessments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in GIS, CAD, and other planning software.
