Are you an experienced planner looking for the next step in your career? My client is seeking a talented Senior Planner to join their team in Basingstoke . As a key member of this Planning consultancy, you'll lead projects, mentor junior staff, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic planning policies and initiatives.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects, including development proposals, master plans, and policy reviews.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on planning matters to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Conduct research and analysis on urban development trends, demographic data, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster collaboration with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with planning legislation, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field.
• Significant experience in urban planning, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
